Dog Training Group Classes
Group Classes aren’t for every dog and human, but for many they offer a fantastic opportunity to learn new skills at a lower cost while practicing around the distraction of other dogs and people! Group Classes are a fun and great way to train while bonding with your dog. Check out what types we offer below!
What We Offer
We offer 5-week group courses and single session topic-specific classes!

Does your dog bark at, chase, or get too focused on squirrels, cats, deer, birds, etc? Then this is the class for you! In this 45 minute course we cover techniques that will help your dog feel fulfilled and learn that engagement with you is way more fun than staring down a squirrel. There are 6 parts to hunting prey: search, stalk, chase, fight, celebrate, and consume. Let’s identify which one (or several) part(s) resonate with your dog and instead of suppressing or punishing their predatory instincts let’s channel it into a more appropriate outlet while gaining control around prey animals. We will also discuss mark and reward training and how to implement THREE markers to make training more engaging for our dogs.
*if your dog doesn’t do well in a group setting or has severe prey drive the trainer may recommend private training sessions for more individualized help
*for dogs over 5 months old

Do you have a teenage tornado or is your puppy about to reach that phase in life? Or did your confident pup all of a sudden become fearful of everything around them? Let us help you get through the age where dogs act as if they’ve forgotten all of their training!! We will discuss several concepts including the second fear period, balancing rest and exercise, and surviving the canine adolescence. We will also practice engagement games and learning ways to get our teenage dogs to listen to us. The age of adolescence varies by breed/size. Smaller breeds/sizes mature more quickly than larger breeds/sizes. This class is for dogs between the ages of 5months-3yrs.
